(English Abstract)
It is necessary to control traffic accidents caused by dangerous road weather conditions, so for this we need to produce dangerous road weather information. There is already a system (Automatic Weather System) which provides large-scale weather information but it is infeasible to install this system everywhere on roads because of its high cost involved. So we proposed a new method which uses sunlight data pattern of CCTV videos which shows that when there is more rain or fog there will be less amount of sunlight detected and vice versa. In our proposed method first we produce different data pattern of edges of frames taken from CCTV. For edge extraction we remove the moving object using Mixture of Gaussian background subtractor to reduce the noise then we selected multiple regions of interest (ROIs) based on near and far region and at last we extract edges of the selected ROIs using Canny Edge Detector. Secondly we organize and analyze these data patterns using big data to produce dangerous road weather information with high accuracy
